Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth, also known as Isle of Pines) has a moderate subtropical climate with two seasons, the dry season from November to April and the humid season from May to Octobrer.

The peak of the hurricane season runs between August and October. Isla de la Juventud is located off the south-west coast of the main island of Cuba, in the Caribbean sea, where the weather is some of the best that Cuba has to offer, the island enjoys warmer temperatures and less rain than most other cuban tourist areas.
