CAYO COCO / CAYO GUILLERMO / MORON
The small islands of Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo have a moderate subtropical climate with two seasons, the dry season from November to April and the humid season from May to Octobrer.
The peak of the hurricane season runs between August and October. Due to moderating trade winds, average temperatures do not fluctuate as much as rainfall does, making the Islands of the "Jardines del Rey" archipelago a warm place to visit any time of year, but because of its location on the northern coast of Cuba there's a greater risk of occasional cold fronts between December and February when temperatures can sometimes drop to less than 17C during evernings and nights.
